Topic: “Dr. Butler will share with us the 3 qualities needed to succeed in one’s personal and professional life as detailed in his book The Road to Wisdom. In addition, he will discuss how perceptual world views create communication problems and misunderstandings regarding interpretations of behavior. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.”
Speaker: Dennis A. Butler, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified Mental Health Care Provider and author of The Road to Wisdom. For over twenty-five years, he has helped individuals in corporations, city governments, small businesses, religious and educational organizations as well as individuals in therapy, gain a better understanding of human behavior and interpersonal interaction. Dr. Butler helps people discover their personal strengths and vulnerabilities/weaknesses, communication styles, problem-solving styles and motivational preferences.
Dr. Butler is a member of the American Psychological Association, the APA Division of Consulting Psychology, the Greater Kansas City Psychological Association and the International Enneagram Association. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Kansas, his M.S. and Ed.S. degrees from Emporia State University, and his Ph.D. degree from Kansas State University.
